Lizzy Wang has been named the No. 1 female DJ in China for three consecutive years by Djanemag; an unmatched feat - honoring her for tirelessly breaking down barriers, and constantly setting new standards for Chinese DJ’s and electronic producers of all genders.
She was the first artist in her home country to gain international attention, propelling Chinese electronic music onto the global EDM scene, with releases through the world’s leading label in clubmusic, Spinnin’ Records, and mainstage performances in Japan and the US, as the first female Chinese DJ to perform on the mainstage of the major festivals Ultra Music Festival and EDC.
Lizzy’s music has primarily been focused on the tech house genre. Some of her notable releases include "I'm Into You", "Stranger Things", and "Shining," all of which have gained significant popularity and impressive achievements overseas. Her collaboration with MAYLYN on "Secrets" has amassed almost 1.6 million plays on Spotify and topped major DJ charts in many territories, leading to an official remix of the Cash Cash release “Too Late” with Wiz Khalifa & Lukas Graham.
In 2021, Lizzy Wang was the first electronic artist to sign with Warner Music's electronic music label, in the Asia-Pacific region. The same year, she collaborated with Fiona Sit and released the Chinese version of the single "Shining." The song gained immense popularity on QQ Music, accumulating over 100 million streams, skyrocketing her social media following and fanbase.
When the voting ended in the early fall of 2023, she took the position as #1 amongst all Chinese DJ’s on the Pyro Music app, while simultaneously becoming the first Chinese artist to be signed as a global priority by Spinnin’ Records on a joint venture agreement with Warner Music Asia.
In November 2023 it became official that she entered the DJ Mag top100 as #96, as one of the few female DJ’s represented in the rankings, and as the first and only female Chinese DJ ever to do so.
Besides being an exceptionally talented DJ and producer, Lizzy has completed her undergraduate studies at Columbia University and her graduate studies at Harvard University in the United States.
